Compared to the situation in UK, China still has a long way to go, reflected from its poor architecture preserving system and the lack of cultural consciousness. Therefore, I deeply realize the importance of protecting the precious heritage and decide to devote myself into the Bachelor of Arts in Conservation Studies.

　　I grow up with a great sense of social responsibility. I used to be a volunteer served in the old people’s home. 　　Mr.Li Quanzhi who has just returned to China from your university informed that you are considering the possibility of offering a Chinese language course to your students in the next academic year and may have an opening for a teacher of the Chinese language. I am very much interested in such a position.

　　I have been teaching Chinese literature and composition at college level since 1980. In the past three years, I have worked in summer programs, teaching the Chinese language and culture to students from English-speaking courtries.
